In this capacity, Griffiths will be instrumental in advancing the company's various platforms.

Nick Griffiths Joins NormanMax to Spearhead Global Growth

NormanMax Insurance Holdings, since its inception in 2023 under the leadership of Bradley Meier, has experienced rapid expansion. Meier's distinguished career includes founding Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company and its parent entity, Universal Insurance Holdings, in addition to co-founding the parametric specialist MGA New Paradigm. The company established its own syndicate at Lloyd's in 2024, marking the first pure-parametric venture in this significant insurance and reinsurance market. Furthermore, NormanMax has diversified its product portfolio beyond parametric solutions for peak catastrophe risks, delving deeper into climate and weather risk transfer offerings. The addition of Nick Griffiths, a seasoned senior reinsurance and retrocession broker, as Chief Revenue Officer represents another pivotal strategic hire for the firm. Bradley I. Meier, Chief Executive Officer of NormanMax Insurance Holdings, expressed his enthusiasm, stating that Griffiths' profound expertise in reinsurance, retrocession, and parametric risk transfer makes him exceptionally qualified to accelerate the company's global expansion. Meier emphasized that Griffiths' capability to bridge conventional and alternative markets, coupled with his well-established relationships within the Lloyd's and ILS sectors, will be vital for the growth of the NormanMax platform across insurance, reinsurance, and capital markets.

Griffiths' career spans over 27 years in reinsurance broking, commencing with an 11-year tenure at Gallagher. Subsequently, he moved to RFIB, a London-based specialist firm, where he advanced to become the Head of Broking for its reinsurance division. In 2019, Griffiths joined Howden as an executive director in its reinsurance broking division. Following this, in 2021, he became part of Inver Re, which later transformed into Price Forbes Re under the Ardonagh Group in 2024, holding the position of Head of Group Solutions. Throughout his career, Griffiths has been deeply involved in the reinsurance and retrocession landscape, frequently integrating collateralized sources of capacity, such as ILS fund markets and other alternative reinsurance limits, into his broking solutions. He also possesses a proven track record in brokering parametric risk transfer solutions, a specific area of expertise he has cultivated over the years. Additionally, Griffiths has provided strategic assistance to insurtech companies, guiding them on effective methods for accessing reinsurance capacity.
