This early success provided the financial foundation for him to forgo an entrance examination for the prestigious IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) and instead pursue studies at Arizona State University in the United States.

Upon relocating, Shah embarked on a rigorous personal challenge: to develop a new project each week for 40 consecutive weeks. It was during one of these intense creative periods that the concept of Supermemory, initially known as Any Context, was conceived. This early iteration, shared on GitHub, allowed users to interact with their Twitter bookmarks. The platform has since evolved into a powerful universal memory API for AI applications, capable of extracting valuable insights from unstructured data to provide richer, more personalized context for users.

Supermemory's advanced capabilities enable it to support a wide range of AI applications. Joshua Browder, founder and CEO of DoNotPay and head of Browder Capital, expressed his admiration for Shah's drive, noting, \"My initial contact with Dhravya was through X, and his rapid execution and building capabilities were truly striking, which motivated my investment.\"

Supermemory already boasts a growing list of clients, including a16z-backed desktop assistant Cluely, AI video editor Montra, AI search platform Scira, Composio's multi-MCP tool Rube, and real estate startup Rets. Furthermore, the company is collaborating with a robotics firm to implement visual memory retention for robots. While the current application offers a developer-friendly environment, its potential for broader consumer use cases remains immense.
