Xiaomi has introduced its latest fitness tracker, the Smart Band 11, at the IFA 2026 trade show in Berlin. While much attention was on the Xiaomi 18 Fold, this new wearable quietly debuted with notable enhancements. The Smart Band 11 offers a sleeker and lighter design compared to its predecessors, providing several weeks of battery life and a significantly brighter screen than last year's model.

The Smart Band 11 builds on previous versions with subtle yet impactful design updates. It retains the option of either a metal or ceramic casing and is approximately a millimeter thinner, now measuring just 9.99mm. The metal version weighs a mere 15.58 grams without the strap. The device features the same 1.72-inch oblong display with a 212 x 520-pixel resolution, but its brightness has been boosted by 33%, reaching an impressive 2,000 nits. Additionally, Xiaomi claims to have reduced the display bezels to a mere 2mm for a more immersive viewing experience.

Beyond its aesthetic improvements, the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 runs on HyperOS 4-based software and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices, promising seamless notification syncing. It boasts 5ATM water resistance, allowing it to be submerged up to 50 meters. The band also features enhanced sensors for more accurate heart rate and SpO2 measurements, and it can track over 150 different types of workouts. For a touch of personal style, the new model introduces vibrant new colors, including pink and green for the metal variant and purple for the ceramic option. Xiaomi has announced pricing for the Chinese market, with the metal version starting at CNY 289 (approximately $43) and the ceramic variant at CNY 399 (approximately $60). Global pricing and availability are expected to be revealed in the coming months.

This new generation of fitness trackers exemplifies how technology continually evolves to integrate seamlessly into our daily lives, offering sophisticated monitoring tools in increasingly stylish and user-friendly packages. Such advancements empower individuals to take a more proactive role in managing their health and well-being, fostering a greater awareness of physical activity and vital signs, ultimately contributing to healthier and more active lifestyles.
