Xgimi has broadened its Flip projector line, introducing two new models designed to elevate portable home entertainment. The Elfin Flip Laser and Elfin Flip 4K are engineered to provide enhanced optical clarity and superior sound, catering to a diverse audience seeking high-quality projection experiences.
Introducing the Elfin Flip 4K: A Versatile Powerhouse
The Elfin Flip 4K is positioned as a high-performance portable projector, ideal for both travel and casual streaming. Weighing approximately 1.55kg and measuring around 25cm in width, its compact design allows for easy transportation between rooms, transforming any space into a cinematic environment. This model is equipped with a 4K RGB Triple Laser engine, delivering an impressive 1600 ISO lumens of brightness and covering 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut with a Delta E of less than 1, offering color accuracy typically found in higher-end home cinema systems.
For effortless setup, the Elfin Flip 4K incorporates Xgimi's Intelligent Screen Adapt (ISA) technology. This system includes features like Uninterrupted Auto Keystone, Auto Focus, Intelligent Screen Alignment, Obstacle Avoidance, Wall Color Adaptation, and Eye Protection, ensuring an optimized image regardless of the projection surface or environment. Gamers will particularly appreciate its sub-1ms input lag at 1080p/120Hz, along with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) support, providing a smooth and responsive gaming experience. Both the Elfin Flip 4K and its Laser counterpart integrate 7W Harman Kardon speakers, promising room-filling audio, and come with Google TV for access to a wide array of entertainment applications.
The Elfin Flip Laser: Quality at 1080p
While sharing many advanced features with its 4K sibling, the Elfin Flip Laser offers a more accessible entry point into Xgimi's expanded range. This model delivers clear 1080p resolution, providing a vibrant and sharp picture for everyday viewing and home entertainment. Although it does not boast the same level of gaming-specific enhancements as the Flip 4K, it still benefits from the advanced optical and audio technologies that define the new Flip series.
The Elfin Flip Laser is also equipped with Xgimi's Intelligent Screen Adapt (ISA) suite, simplifying the setup process and ensuring an excellent viewing experience right out of the box. Its 7W Harman Kardon speaker system is designed to produce robust sound, potentially eliminating the need for external audio components for many users. The inclusion of Google TV on both models ensures a user-friendly interface and extensive content options, making them versatile choices for a variety of home entertainment needs. Both projectors will be available starting July 15th on the Xgimi website, with Amazon availability following on July 22nd, priced at $799 / £689 for the Elfin Flip Laser and $999 / £869 for the Elfin Flip 4K.
