Sheridan candidly shared this revelation during a recent episode of the 'Rodeo Time' podcast, disclosing that he believed he had achieved all his career goals in Hollywood until this monumental ranch became available for purchase.
Before this life-altering acquisition, Sheridan already owned a 600-acre property in Weatherford, Texas, where he had envisioned a peaceful retirement, focusing on his passion for horses. "I was prepared to retire. After 'Yellowstone', I was going to be done. I had bought the ranch in Weatherford, paid for it outright, and owed no one anything," he recounted. He further added, "My plan was to relax, enjoy my horses, and indulge in my small hobby herd, and that would be it."
Yet, the allure of the historic Four Sixes Ranch proved too strong to resist. This iconic property, which served as a picturesque backdrop for numerous episodes in 'Yellowstone's' fourth season, had remained in the same family for over 150 years before Sheridan’s purchase in 2021. "I knew that if I bought this ranch, I wouldn't be quitting my day job anytime soon," he admitted. When asked about his desired figure, he confidently responded, "Oh, yes, I do. I certainly do."
