Sonos, a leader in home audio, has recently expanded its product lineup with the introduction of the Beam Ultra soundbar and the Ace Ultra headphones. These new devices are designed to highlight the capabilities of the company's latest AI-powered operating system, Sonos 27, promising an elevated audio experience for consumers.

Experience Next-Level Audio with Sonos's Latest Innovations!

Beam Ultra: A Compact Soundbar with Immersive Sound

The new Beam Ultra soundbar retains the sleek and compact design of its predecessor, the Beam Gen 2, while significantly boosting its audio performance. It features nine specially engineered drivers, including two upward-firing ones that enable a full 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos experience. This configuration not only delivers expansive, immersive audio but also produces deeper bass than previous models, transforming your home theater sound.

Enhanced Dialogue and Night Listening with Beam Ultra

A key improvement in the Beam Ultra is its re-engineered center channel, which is meticulously designed to enhance vocal clarity. Furthermore, the soundbar incorporates four levels of AI Speech Enhancement, allowing users to fine-tune dialogue focus for crystal-clear conversations. For late-night viewing, the Night Sound mode intelligently reduces the intensity of loud audio passages, ensuring an undisturbed environment while maintaining an engaging sound profile.

Flexible Home Theater Integration with Beam Ultra

Sonos has also made the Beam Ultra more adaptable within a broader home theater ecosystem. Users can easily augment their setup by adding a Sonos Sub or Sub Mini for richer, more profound bass. For a complete surround sound experience, compatible portable Sonos speakers, such as the Move 2 and Play, can now be seamlessly integrated as rear channels, offering greater flexibility and customization.

Ace Ultra Headphones: Premium Audio with System Integration

Accompanying the soundbar, Sonos introduces the Ace Ultra, its latest premium over-ear headphones. These headphones boast Sonos-designed 40mm drivers and feature Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), powered by an array of 10 microphones. Users can enjoy up to 35 hours of listening on a single charge with ANC activated, ensuring long-lasting, high-fidelity audio.

Seamless Connectivity and Smart Features of Ace Ultra

A standout feature of the Ace Ultra headphones is their innovative integration with the existing Sonos system. Built on the new Headphone Engine 2 hardware, these headphones allow users to effortlessly transfer audio playback from their Sonos speakers directly to the headphones with a simple press of a button, and vice-versa. Both the Beam Ultra and Ace Ultra leverage the updated Sonos 27 operating system, offering versatile connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI eARC for the soundbar, and USB-C along with a 3.5mm jack for the headphones.

Pricing and Availability

The Sonos Beam Ultra is available at a price point of $699 / £699, reflecting an increase from its previous iteration. The Sonos Ace Ultra headphones are priced at $449 in the US and £399 in the UK, a reduction from the initial Ace model's £449 price. Both products are currently available for pre-order, with general availability scheduled to begin on September 29, 2026.
