Streamlined Navigation for Effortless Control
The updated application now features a more organized bottom navigation bar, clearly demarcated with "Home," "System," and "Search" buttons. A more pronounced highlight indicates the currently selected tab. Users can activate this improved navigation feature by toggling on the "Enable Improved Navigation" option within the Sonos app settings.
Advanced Speaker Management Features
A crucial addition to the app is the ability to customize speaker organization. Users can now arrange their Sonos speakers alphabetically, by frequency of use, or according to which speakers are currently active. Furthermore, the update allows users to pin their most-used speakers to the top of the list for quick and easy access.
Dynamic Volume Control for iOS Users
iPhone users will benefit from a newly designed dynamic volume slider. This innovative slider can display either the current volume level or an EQ shortcut, depending on user preferences. This feature is expected to offer a more fluid and responsive volume adjustment experience.
