Calvin Klein is revitalizing its renowned Euphoria fragrance, introducing a more potent and intense concentration alongside a striking new campaign headlined by Grammy-winning sensation Rosalía. The original Euphoria, a scent that defined the mid-2000s with its distinctive citrus and exotic notes, is making a significant comeback. This reimagined version aims to capture the essence of its predecessor while evolving for a contemporary audience, moving away from the overtly muscular imagery of past campaigns towards a more modern and inclusive aesthetic. Rosalía, a recent Vogue cover star, shared that the fragrance evokes feelings of euphoria experienced during her performances and while driving, highlighting its connection to moments of personal freedom and joy.

To mark this exciting new phase, Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Fragrances hosted a memorable launch event at People’s in Greenwich Village, immediately following the brand's collection reveal. The atmosphere was a deliberate throwback to 2005, characterized by a refreshing absence of cell phones and the nostalgic presence of a camcorder capturing the festivities. Guests fully immersed themselves in the experience, dancing enthusiastically to hip-hop remixes by DJs Kitty Ca$h and Huneycut, and indulging in lychee-infused jell-o shots that quickly disappeared. Attendees embraced the theme by dressing in styles reminiscent of the original 2005 Euphoria ads, featuring vests, midriff-baring tops, and dark-wash denim, further enhancing the nostalgic yet fresh vibe of the evening.

Rosalía made a grand entrance in a dazzling silver ensemble, warmly greeting Calvin Klein's creative director Veronica Leoni and Javier Zotes Ciancas, Global SVP at Calvin Klein Fragrances. Zotes Ciancas detailed that the new 'signature elixir' format maintains the original notes of Euphoria but has been updated with a richer, more enveloping 28% concentration. Master perfumer Carlos Benaïm, a co-creator of the 2005 original, returned to lead this modernization, ensuring the scent remains unmistakably Euphoria yet perfectly reinterpreted for today. Rosalía, who once liberally applied perfumes as a teenager, now prefers a more subtle approach, sharing that her fragrance is reserved for those who get truly close to her, reflecting a more intimate and personal connection to scent.

The relaunch of Calvin Klein's Euphoria, with Rosalía as its face, symbolizes a beautiful fusion of past and present, tradition and innovation. It reminds us that true artistry, whether in fragrance or performance, endures and evolves, continuously inspiring new generations to embrace their unique expressions of joy and confidence. This refreshed approach encourages individuals to find their own sense of euphoria, recognizing that genuine happiness often stems from authentic, present-moment experiences and the connections we share with others.
