Beauty and fashion powerhouse Puig has revealed its ambitious "Vision 2032" growth blueprint, setting a target to exceed €8 billion in revenue over the next six years. This strategic roadmap, unveiled at the company's inaugural Capital Markets Day, emphasizes organic expansion, concentrated brand development, and calculated investments in promising sectors to solidify its global standing.
The journey towards this new horizon began with José Manuel Albesa assuming the CEO position in March 2026, succeeding Marc Puig, who now serves as executive chair. Marc Puig's previous "Vision 2025" plan successfully tripled sales in five years, culminating in €5 billion in revenue by 2025. Building on this momentum, Albesa's "Vision 2032" seeks to amplify successful strategies, aiming for a top-four position in premium beauty and a top-two ranking in fragrance, alongside an adjusted EBITDA margin exceeding 22.5%.
Puig, known for housing iconic brands such as Rabanne, Charlotte Tilbury, and Dries Van Noten, marked a significant milestone by becoming a publicly traded entity on various Spanish stock exchanges in May 2024. This move further empowers the company's growth trajectory and provides a platform for increased visibility and investment.
Despite impressive third-quarter revenue growth of 5.6% to €1.39 billion, Puig acknowledges its relatively smaller scale compared to industry giants. Earlier discussions regarding a merger with Estée Lauder Companies did not materialize, prompting Puig to intensify its independent growth initiatives. A key aspect of this strategy involves strategic acquisitions, such as acquiring the remaining 50% of Spanish dermocosmetics brand ISDIN and a minority stake in Kreme, a French company specializing in microbiome-based skincare.
Marc Puig highlighted the company's current strength, attributing it to a distinctive culture, a long-term vision rooted in family ownership, and professional management. The "Vision 2032" specifically targets bolstering prestige fragrances (Carolina Herrera, Jean Paul Gaultier, Rabanne), expanding its niche fragrance offerings (Byredo, Penhaligon's in the US), and substantially increasing the sales of Charlotte Tilbury and Uriage. The aim is to multiply Charlotte Tilbury's business by 1.5 times and double Uriage's presence by the target year.
Puig's strategic plan for the next decade is characterized by a clear focus on leveraging its existing strengths, exploring new growth avenues within the beauty and fashion landscape, and continuously adapting to market demands. The company's commitment to strategic investments, brand scaling, and organic growth underscores its determination to achieve its ambitious financial and market position goals by 2032.
