The integration of Claros’s technology is expected to dramatically improve the performance and efficiency of AI data centers. By placing multiple power technologies closer to AI chips, Claros’s solutions reduce response times, minimize heat generation, and boost power density. This innovative approach addresses the "power wall" challenge faced by current AI chip technology, which requires immense amounts of electricity and precise power delivery. Navitas anticipates that this acquisition will more than double its addressable market, expanding it to over $8 billion, solidifying its role in providing essential power solutions for the rapidly evolving AI landscape. The transaction is slated for completion by year-end, pending regulatory approvals.

This strategic placement significantly shortens the distance electricity needs to travel, from inches to mere millimeters, leading to a profound impact on system performance. The benefits include a drastic reduction in response times, substantial decreases in heat generation, and notable improvements in overall power efficiency and density.
