Meta, the parent company of Instagram, recently dissolved an internal leaderboard designed to track AI token usage, following projections that its AI-related costs could reach billions by 2026. For instance, Uber exhausted its AI coding budget for 2026 by April, leading to a recalibration of its AI investment strategy.
