Kylie Jenner has shared insights into her prospective family life with her partner, Timothée Chalamet, while reflecting on her previous experiences with motherhood. The 29-year-old entrepreneur, who has two children with her former partner Travis Scott, conveyed her current reservations about having more children. She also candidly spoke about the personal difficulties and anxieties she encountered during her earlier pregnancies, including a period of required bed rest due to health complications. Despite previously expressing a wish for a larger family, Jenner is currently prioritizing her existing children, her business ventures, and her personal development.

Kylie Jenner's Reflections on Expanding Her Family

Kylie Jenner has recently been open about her thoughts on having more children with her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet. In a conversation that took place on her sister Khloe Kardashian's new Hulu series, 'The Girls,' Jenner expressed that the idea of carrying another child at this moment feels overwhelming. She currently shares an eight-year-old daughter, Stormi, and a four-year-old son, Aire, with her former partner, Travis Scott. Jenner made it clear that she isn't quite ready to grow her family further at this time.

During the discussion, when asked about the possibility of using a surrogate, Jenner indicated that it's highly unlikely for her. She stated, "I don’t want to say no, no, but I’m like 99.9 percent sure I couldn’t do that." She further explained her reasoning, highlighting that she has given birth to "big healthy babies" and therefore sees "no reason for me to really have a surrogate." This reveals her preference for natural childbirth if she were to decide on having more children in the future, rooted in her previous positive birthing experiences.

The Realities of Motherhood: Past Pregnancies and Future Priorities

Jenner's journey into motherhood has been marked by significant personal challenges and emotional experiences. Earlier this year, while appearing on Jake Shane's 'Therapuss' podcast, she disclosed that she was "freaked out" upon discovering her first pregnancy at the age of 19. She recounted her immense fear of informing her parents, Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, about the news, emphasizing, "I was really scared to tell my parents. I was really scared." Despite her apprehension, a strong maternal instinct guided her decision, as she felt an inner conviction to embrace motherhood, stating, "But there was something just inside of me that knew that I wanted to do this, and I had to make a decision for myself." When she finally shared the news, her parents reacted with understanding rather than anger.

Her second pregnancy with her son, Aire, also presented its own set of difficulties. Jenner revealed that she was placed on bed rest due to complications, describing how the baby was "falling out" of her body and that she was three centimeters dilated for an extended period. These experiences have undoubtedly shaped her current perspective on expanding her family. In a March 2026 interview with Variety, Jenner expressed her long-term desire for more children but affirmed her immediate focus on her current children, her businesses, and her personal well-being, indicating a period of self-prioritization before considering further additions to her family.
