The newly developed tool is integrated within the Markup section of Google Photos' editor, sitting alongside familiar options like the Pen, Highlighter, and Text tools. During our preliminary evaluations, both Mosaic and Mosaic Light modes demonstrated instantaneous rendering and consistent scaling, while the Blur effect maintained its textured appearance even when magnified.
While this redaction tool is still under active development and its public availability is yet to be announced, its evolution from a non-responsive button to a multi-functional feature marks a significant stride. The inclusion of undo, redo, and a comprehensive reset option further enhances its usability, allowing for flexible and precise application.
