An innovative company at the forefront of subsurface exploration has recently secured substantial additional capital, affirming its leadership in revolutionizing underground mapping techniques. Exodigo, a startup operating from Tel Aviv and Palo Alto, announced the successful completion of a $96 million Series B funding round. This latest infusion of capital elevates their total raised funds to an impressive $214 million since the company's establishment in 2021, highlighting strong investor confidence in their groundbreaking approach.

Exodigo's distinct methodology leverages a sophisticated blend of diverse sensor technologies, cutting-edge 3D imaging, and a proprietary artificial intelligence platform to provide unprecedented visibility beneath the Earth's surface. This advanced system, initially focused on accurately mapping buried pipes, wires, and essential utility infrastructure, offers significant advantages in large-scale construction projects such as new buildings, subways, and highways. By eliminating the need for exploratory excavations, the technology streamlines operations, mitigates delays, and substantially enhances efficiency for infrastructure, transit, and utility companies. The core of their innovation lies in an extensive AI-driven database, boasting over 350 terabytes of information. This powerful resource transforms raw data signals and engineering insights into highly precise, BIM-compliant 3D maps, achieving centimeter-level accuracy through an advanced dual AI engine designed for geophysics and 3D visualization.

The recent financing round was jointly spearheaded by existing investors Zeev Ventures and Greenfield Partners, with additional participation from 10D VC, SquarePeg, Jibe, and Vintage Partners. This robust financial backing is strategically earmarked to propel Exodigo's ongoing research and development initiatives. According to CEO Jeremy Suard, the company's commitment since its inception has been to collaborate closely with industry leaders, moving beyond conventional methods that often miss up to half of underground utilities to achieve an extraordinary 99 percent accuracy without any disruptive digging. Exodigo's impactful work is already evident, having successfully de-risked over $75 billion in investments across various federal, state, and local projects throughout the United States, serving a growing roster of prominent clients including Amtrak, the California High-Speed Rail Authority, and several state Departments of Transportation.

The success of companies like Exodigo exemplifies the transformative power of artificial intelligence and advanced technology when applied to critical, often unseen, aspects of our infrastructure. By enabling greater precision and efficiency in subsurface mapping, this innovation not only saves substantial resources but also enhances safety and accelerates the development of vital public and private projects. This forward-thinking approach underscores a positive trajectory for technological solutions that address real-world challenges, fostering progress and sustainability in urban and industrial development.
