Brookmont Capital Management has announced a significant achievement for its Catastrophe Bond Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), identified by the ticker ILS. As of October 28, 2026, the fund's assets under management (AUM) have exceeded an impressive $150 million. This milestone comes shortly after the fund's strategic relocation of its primary listing from the New York Stock Exchange to the Texas Stock Exchange and the critical engagement of a new lead market maker.

Initially launched in early April, the Brookmont Catastrophe Bond ETF made history as the first US exchange-listed and traded catastrophe bond fund strategy on the NYSE ARCA platform. The fund's journey saw a pivotal moment in late August when Brookmont Capital Management revealed its intention to migrate the ETF to the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE), a move that officially took effect on September 18, 2026.

The primary motivation behind this relocation was to enhance market maker participation, an area that presented challenges during the fund's initial launch phase. Brookmont emphasized that despite these early hurdles, the fund consistently attracted strong investor interest, bolstered by a vibrant secondary market for its holdings.

Further strengthening its market position, Brookmont also disclosed that financial technology firm GTS has assumed the role of lead market maker for the catastrophe bond fund. This collaboration with GTS, coupled with the move to TXSE, is expected to fortify the fund's trading infrastructure and propel its future expansion.

Previously, in August, the Brookmont Catastrophe Bond ETF's AUM stood at $95.6 million. The recent announcement underscores a remarkable surge, with the fund now comfortably exceeding the $150 million mark. Brookmont has also confirmed that the fund will retain its ILS ticker, and its name, investment objectives, and strategies will remain unaltered.

Ethan Powell, Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Brookmont Capital Management, expressed optimism regarding these developments. He remarked, "Our partnership with GTS and the fund's move to TXSE signify a crucial new chapter in its ongoing expansion. The positive reception of ILS since its inception reinforces our belief in the valuable role catastrophe bonds play in diverse investment portfolios, and we are committed to broadening access to this asset class."

Rob Marrocco, Global Head of Exchange-Traded Products for TXSE, also commented on the significance of the partnership. He stated, "The future trajectory of the ETF ecosystem will be shaped by quality and innovation, precisely what Brookmont has demonstrated with ILS and now through its collaboration with GTS and the Texas Stock Exchange. ILS serves as a compelling example of how TXSE's distinctive ETF offerings can support a fund throughout its entire lifecycle."
