Brittany Curran, an actress recognized for her work in '13 Going On 30' and 'The Magicians,' has once again been apprehended for public intoxication. This incident, occurring less than a year after a similar charge, spotlights recurring issues. Law enforcement officials were dispatched following reports of a suspicious individual disturbing residents, leading to Curran's arrest due to noticeable signs of inebriation.

On October 19, an early Monday morning, police officers from Burbank were called to an address after receiving a report about an individual repeatedly knocking on a resident's door. Upon their arrival, they identified the person as the 36-year-old actress, Brittany Curran. Officers observed clear indicators of alcohol intoxication. Despite being advised multiple times to return to her nearby home, Curran did not comply, resulting in her subsequent arrest for public intoxication and transportation to a local detention facility.

This recent apprehension comes approximately nine months after a previous incident in February of the same year, where Curran was reportedly taken into custody for disorderly conduct while intoxicated. According to reports from that time, she arrived at the Burbank police station disoriented, unable to articulate how she got there or the reason for her presence. Her level of intoxication was such that she struggled to communicate, leading authorities to deem her a potential safety risk. Consequently, she was booked for displaying symptoms of alcohol intoxication.

Curran's career began as a child actress, securing her first role at age 11 in 2001 on 'MadTV.' Her early television appearances included 'Power Rangers Wild Force,' 'Complete Savages,' and 'Go Figure,' followed by a recurring role as Lindsey in 'The Young And The Restless.' She also featured in two episodes of 'Drake & Josh' as Carly in 2006 and 2007. In 2004, she played a minor character in the film '13 Going On 30,' alongside Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo, portraying one of the teenagers who were unkind to the younger version of Garner's character.

Her film credits also include 'Akeelah and the Bee,' 'The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It,' 'The Uninvited,' and 'Legally Blondes,' as well as an appearance in 'Dear White People.' In 2009, Curran was cast as Lucy Tranelli in 'Men Of A Certain Age,' playing the daughter of Ray Romano's character. More recently, in 2017, she joined the cast of Syfy's 'The Magicians,' starring as Fen, Eliot's Fillorian wife, a role she held until the series concluded in 2020 after five seasons. Her latest project is the 2026 holiday film, 'The Christmas Heartbeat,' which she recently promoted at a screening in Nashville just days before her latest arrest.

The repeated nature of these incidents, particularly with a recent film promotion event, highlights a troubling pattern. Despite her extensive career from childhood acting to recent film roles, the actress's personal struggles with alcohol are becoming increasingly public. The Burbank Police Department has confirmed the details of the latest arrest, and while requests for comments from Curran's representatives have been made, no response has been received at this time.
